We probably could, sure, it still would be wasted $. A physical border across the entire mexico/u.s. border would be a lot more than $5 friggen billion too... (try $10+). And then you have the countless lawsuits of emnient domain thatll drag the effort on for years in the courts... get real... and you live in Mich. Right? I find it hilarious you even give two shits about southern border security.

I have family all over the Us, 2 of my sisters have homes in Texas, I know all about it from real life experiences. Well if its more he will have to get it passed but hes asking for 5.7 to get it done, so dont give me you 10+ bullshit, lets deal in facts. Fact is that's what he wants. they wasted 3 billion we wont get back over this fucking cockfight nobody agreed to settle until the president did even though he forced their hand. If he wants to be a dick he is commander in chief and can have the military build it. I would rather have our tax paying contractors get the job myself.

That and let's say it is 10 billion to do it, how much does the US spend on illegal immigrants that don't pay taxes but get help from government, kids to to school, free Healthcare etc

So they may contribute 12 billion high side, but still cost over 100B per year after factoring in your meager 12 they bring in. If I handed you 12 dollars would you give me 100 and call it fair? Also yes the 50k businesses COULD get 500k but if you have a single brain cell you know that the government would never give small businesses any kind of stipend anywhere near that amount, so that argument was just absolutely absurd
