One of my best friends had his wedding in Florida so that his grandparents could be there, since they said they couldn't make the trip. This left most his friends and family in MD out of the picture, including me. I felt bad, but there was nothing I could do; I couldn't realistically go. Enjoy it man.

Then a couple years later his grandparents decided they were healthy enough to attend his slutty white-trash cousin's 4th wedding in MD.

Ouch.... Do you think if your friend pushed it and said he was getting married in MD regardless, that they would have come? Nice of your friend, but that blows man. I've been best-man once, and a groomsman once. Going to be a groomsman again for my Brother's wedding in June and I'm best-man alt if his can't get leave time.



Doing it in SS is just the shittiest of the shit, at least go jack a trade spawns 08s if you're going to be a prick.

I would have no idea.

In retrospect, I'm sure they would have held their wedding in MD so that 99% of their family and friends could be there though. But it's not like Florida is bad either. It's more scenic. They had nice photos.

They had like an unofficial wedding party in MD the following winter, and I was dealing with the worst part of a flu, so I couldn't even really enjoy that lol.

As a wedding gift, I gave them tickets to a Ravens/Patriots game in 2013 that was a total blowout and basically ended the Ravens' season, so there's that.

Super thoughtful gift regardless of the outcome. I still have yet to see a NE game, I'll do it eventually, but it's going to cost me a lot for travel/lodging/tickets etc., it'll be so fucking worth it though. Still hoping I'll get to see a game during the BB/Brady era.

I've been thinking all year that he'd be done one way or another after this year. Would be pretty amazing if he finished his career the same way it started. I'm hoping for one more so I can go see them, but if not, I'll have to go see whatever unfortunate bastard is left to pick up where Brady left off.
