Anyone ever see someone dislocate a knee before? At jiu jitsu tonight a dude in his early 20s dislocated his knee and he was screaming like he blew his leg off on the beaches of Normandy. I've seen 2 Acls and 1 meniscus injury before and the meniscus the dude was cussing and doing the Peter Griffen knee grab and the 2 Acls seemed pretty painless but this dudes screams were on another level.

Could be a broken bone, or a combination of things tbh

I "twisted" my ankle once, and was pounding the floor in pain, friends ripped on me for a couple days till I had it looked at

Broken in a dozen places and severed the ligament

Poly coat what? Sub floor?

No thanks. Put in luxury vinyl planks. That’s what I just did and love it.

I figured he was talking about older hardwood.

Rent a huge sander. It will be worth it

Laminate is super easy to install, but actual wood looks nicer once you refinish it.

If he's already got a real wood floor installed, sanding and refinishing would look pretty nice. You can rent a big sander and probably finish a kitchen-sized floor in a day.

yeah there older wooden floors, the old poly coat looks to be fading out, low spots and spots where its gone. just wondering how id go about it.

never done wooden floors before, figured it would be something good to learn. seems home depot rents drum floor sanders for 60$ a day, that doesnt sound to bad

This should seem obvious, but seriously, wear a filtered mask during whatever resurfacing/refinishing you're doing.

My dad absolutely refused to wear masks doing this sort of this throughout his life. Just waiting for the day he's diagnosed with some major lung issue.
