Really ranked-choice voting—especially for primary elections—is what should be implemented first. I don't think America will ever realistically eliminate the 2-party system. Oh, and have actual primary elections, not just caucuses.
My state implemented ranked choice and we just used it to elect Jared Golden to U.S. congress in Maine's 2nd district. the loser, Bruce Poliquin, tried to sue because he got a very slim majority of votes, yet still under 50% so it led to a ranked choice run off & when the ranked votes were tallied, Golden won. Long story short his lawsuits were unsucessful (thrown out/dismissed by Trump appointed judge too 😂) and our republican gov. At the time, Paul LePage (i call him OG trump/trump-lite, he's a huge fraud) ended up signing off on the ranked choice election victory and wrote "stolen election" on the certificate. What a salty ahole.
Caucuses are the ones where you can only vote for your registered party correct? If so, toss those, go to all primaries.
