Moncrief, Westbrook, Cole, and Lee? Is that the new receiving Corps?

If so, how do you jags fans feel about that?

I'm sure we'll be drafting a WR at some point in this draft as well.

@josinaanderson . @JosinaAnderson says on ESPN that the Jaguars asked Allen Hurns to take a pay cut around combine time and he asked for his release

Well there you go. Clearly this front office isn't playing around.

Jags restructure Telvin smiths contract, gives him a little more loot this year and increases our cap space if I read that correctly

They converted it over to a signing bonus and freed up $6m in cap space.

With this move and the releasing of Lewis and Hurns, our front office created nearly $17m in cap space now for 2018. Most of which will likely be rolled over to the 2019 cap.

God it's great having a front office who knows what they're doing.

.@NFLPA rep to me on the #Jaguars current cap situation:

"Just checked Telvin's [Smith] contract and there was a note about the converted bonus, so the current number on our site for the Jaguars cap room is correct ($11.93 million) and includes the newly created space."

Clarification from a @NFLPA rep:

“The [$11.93 million] cap space does NOT yet account for the Hurns and Lewis releases because they are both still listed with the Jaguars in the player agent report”

#Jaguars will have over $22 million in cap room

Looking even better than we thought B)

For perspective: The #Jaguars received a 2019 seventh round pick in a trade with the Ravens for C Luke Bowanko. The Kessler pick is a conditional seventh, so in theory, they could still have two sevenths next year.

The conditional pick basically allows the #Jaguars to have a five month long visit with Kessler to see if he makes sense to them in their system as a backup ... And if he is, he's a cheap backup for two years.

The conditional nature of the #Jaguars trade with the #Browns, per league source: Kessler has to be on the active 46-man roster for six games in order for Cleveland to receive a 2019 seventh-round pick from Jacksonville.

They did Lewis dirty

AsJ is also a bust, he’s a better pass catcher, but he’s a DUI machine and can’t block

Na, just hand the ball off every play, then play action to a TE every now and then.

Basically this. Hope your backs can demoralize the defense into stacking the box which creates play action opportunities
