Honestly, I find what you're saying rude and disrespectful. To act like researching morrowwindz's posting history, compiling evidence, and composing painstaking reports for our forum moderators to read is anything less than a dedicated undertaking that requires hundreds of man-hours is nothing short of insulting.

Fact is AnimeA is a vanguard in the field of morrowwindz's posting habits and account history, and to credit him with anything less would be to ignore the dedication that is requesite to becoming the best. It'd be like saying Tom Brady is a system quarterback. No, he dedicated his life to being the best, and to suggest anything less is to belittle his accomplishments.

Obviously AnimeA is too humble to brag about how much time and effort he has invested in this Magnum Opus of his, but give credit where credit is due is all I'm saying.

Like I said of course there’s downtime. But not like downtime for a ‘normal job’ let’s be real if you work a 9-5 you most likely aren’t working that entire time you are there. I’ve worked plenty of jobs where we did a lot of dicking around. But we don’t get to go home, that’s what people don’t realize. We are always away from friends and family. We don’t work 8 hours a day and get to go home and get weekends off and holidays off like a ‘normal job’. I know you understand that, but not everyone does.

I just worked 3 straight days, and that includes Christmas. Prime holiday time AWAY from friends and family.

Good thing you don’t have any in the first place.

Very disappointed at Friday Night Nerd Night

Built one of the best draft decks I've ever had, yet I only went 1-3. Multiple games lost due to mulligans and mana screw despite being well-stocked with lands (17/40). One game I was actually hanging in there despite only having 3 lands on turn 12 or w/e, but still lost. I was getting passed so much premium removal and good creatures; shame I lost on shitty draws. Can't complain too much though; I usually always go 2-1 or 3-0.

It can be expensive if you do standard or vintage, but I just do limited (draft), which is $15 a week. And even then I could recoup that expense by selling my cards and winnings if I cared enough to do so (though I am currently selling ~54 packs I've won on ebay lol)

He had said that some of the cards themselves are rare as fuck and can go for a ton of money lol I never got into it and don't really understand how the decks have to be made etc but he said some of the cards they only made a handful of and they're considered stupid rare

That's all true. Like there's some staples in vintage that go for hundreds of dollars per cards—maybe even a few thousand in the right condition.

However, I don't do any formats that require expensive cards. I know I don't have the money, talent, or interest to hang with the big dogs, so I just do drafts, which helps level the playing field. Everyone just buys three packs of cards, passes them around, builds a deck on the spot, and then plays three rounds (best of 3 in each round) to see who the winner is.

Side-note: I'm finally selling my massive magic collection to help buy a new car.

That's like $8500 in booster boxes. Paid around 6k for them a few years ago, so a solid investment (would like to have waited to sell some of them, but need the money now. Probably will wait on the Khans of Tarkir actually). Already sold ~15 boxes (prior to that picture) for like 5k.

Hard to keep up with the shipping. Already sold 6 boxes in the last 24 hours.

I can drive just about anything that isn't jacked up real high, like a lifted truck lol. I just put hand controls in it and off I go.

I want a Chevy Bolt, but we'll see. Might settle for something else, like a Nissan Leaf or VW E-Golf.
