Rodgers can be Superman all he wants...but it doesn't mean jack shit if our D doesn't step up.

"step up" is pretty vague. they made plays and did what they could. tackling and pressure have been an issue all season long and yet we're in the playoffs somehow. rodgers was pretty inaccurate at the worst times and even so, was able to propel the team to a VERY close W. coming from that decimation on thanksgiving, the team has come a long way. i'm not saying beating the niners is inevitable, but it could be a whole hell of a lot worse. covering Marsh, Jeffrey and Bennett is about a hard of a challenge that they have seen and unfortunately forte beat the shit out of them. a good test for SF imo.

If the pack plays smart and the coaches keep it cool

Coming off a division rival win and having a confidence/motivational boost having the face of the franchise back in business

Even so, I'm not getting my hopes up, as bad as I want revenge on the Niners. We DEFINITELY need Clay back, that has to be priority #1 for them right now.

As long as the defense can create some turnovers, we got a shot in any game. Can't wait to see Godgers and Lacy tearing up d's in the playoffs
