This

Honestly I see nothing but good moves
Mathis is probably the worse but it's okay - he have developing corners plus Alex carter is coming off IR. I know he hasn't played a snap but I'm 100% positive we get a low end FA corner and address the need further if not through FA in the draft.

Joique bell was getting up there in age and his contract was too expensive vs his production, Zenner is more than capable if he can stay healthy. Plus what's he rookie contract he's at? 500k maybe? Fresh legs, power runner, saves cap room and you can't forget AA and Riddick. Towards the end Joique was like RB4

CJ retiring may seem bad but his contract is so fucking bad....if he retires alright it's cool we'll be fine. Our offense favors short passes instead of long ass throws to CJ like with linnenhan. Through FA Travis Benjamin, or one of the Bengal recievers that are going to FA.

/e and then Tulloch is going to most likely be cut but after Bell, Mathis, Tully and CJ we should have a little north of 40 million cap room to resign Ziggy, Slay + $$$ for free agents

Lmk I like talking Lions :Santa:

I like your optimism. Seriously I do. But you cannot be anywhere serious to say it's "good moves" to have a veteran DB and GOATest receiver retire. Those holes are not easily filled.

What it does is gives the Lions an honest opportunity to restructure their team. They are essentially FORCED too. What that means is it will set them back ANOTHER 2-3 years.

As a fan, I'm fucking tired of "waiting for player development." Last season they were suppose to IMPROVE on their 11-5 season, NOT DIGRESS.
