Insane.. how the fuck was that not called? I mean it even looks like he's trying to make a break on the ball but just gets carried away.
Same EXACT play happened a few years ago in Detroit, the flag wasn't picked up.

Mike and Mike didn't agree with it. They thought it was crazy and terrible. The ball is max 1 yard away where he was initially.
But let's talk about the defense. 29th in 3rd down defense. Allowing 45 more rush yards since we lost Wilfork.
Hightower had the game won yesterday but doesn't know how to run through an open gap. Dropping 2 INTs Cam bascially threw at our defense.
Panthers had 6 possessions. They didn't score on their first drive, so they scored on 4 of the 5....defense doesn't make any stops.

Offense did amazing. I'm pretty sure we had no 3 and outs.
As for the worst play call of the game? 3rd and 1 @ CAR 8, when we were pounding the ball with Blount...throw to Dobson. Pathetic BB, just terrible.

As for Cam Newton doing amazing things...he had 1 amazing run, that's it. And it was amazing!
The "good" runs where he gained yards were all on 3rd down. Probably the easiest time for a mobile QB to run for a 1st. Especially facing the 29th ranked defense on 3rd down missing their only cover LB in Mayo.

Pretty much agree with everything.. We should of pounded the ball on that 3rd and 1, our line was blowing them off the snap all drive long.

Although we got fucked on that last play we still deserved to lose, I always say if a game was lost because of a call, whether it's right or wrong you didn't deserve to win.. We didn't stop them and needed a miracle drive to win.. that's what it comes down to.
Our defense is still pretty fucked up and sadly Hightower is looking like DOG SHIT. Talib still seemed a bit banged up so hopefully he can recover in time for the playoffs..

Ridley is soooo good but he can't hold onto the ball and i'm losing my mind watching him fumble like this... other than him our offense looked great, Vereen being back really changed our 3rd down so much.
Offense is only going to get better.. defense needs to figure it out.

Agreed. The defense never should of blown it so the flag doesn't matter.
Ridley is a monster and I hope he stays as the #1 back and stops fumbling.
Vereen though...was it 6 catches and 60 yards? Cannot wait till he is healthy.
I'd like to see more Thompkins than Dobson too. He runs waay to many routes wrong.

JM: We always try to give ourselves multiple options on any lay like that: run, pass or if it's just a pass and haven an opportunity to get multiple people out in the pattern. I think they did a good job of covering the front side of the pattern where [Rob] Gronkowski was and [James] Develin was in the flat, they did a decent job there. [They] got a little bit of rush on us and [Tom Brady] ended up going back there to AD [Aaron Dobson] and it wasn't really clean back there and I thought he, under the circumstances, made a good decision to go ahead and throw the ball away, not take a negative play and give Steve [Gostkowski] an opportunity to kick the field goal.

All in all, I will say it was a very good game guys. It sucks that it had to come down to the final play, but one team had to win. I have seen worse blown calls to end the game, like the packers seattle game, but this one will be one of the more controversial calls of this season that's forsure. Just wanted to say good game and good luck the rest of this season
