Joseph Randle, nice.

Our picks got much better in the later rounds, lol. Pick 1 and 2 were pretty upsetting though. I DID ask for an O-Lineman in the first though...

I could deal with the Center in the first round. Not a really bad pick. The only pick where I had a WTF moment was B.W. Webb. Seriously? a CB? The main reason I was upset was because Jesse Williams (DT Bama)was still undrafted at the time. IDK why Jerry feels that the D-Line is okay unless he knows something like Josh Brent is coming back, in which case I could understand a little better.

I feel pretty good about this draft. We addressed almost all of our needs except for interior d line which could be ok if Ratliff comes back.

and by come back I mean step it up.

Ratlif would be a good 3 technique if he were to stay healthy. However, he is not a great 1 technique. Josh Brent would have been great for the 1 technique but he is currently on track to go to prison. Even if Ratlif is out there we still need a 1 technique. No one wants Hatcher out there every down. He has even said himself that he prefers coming off the bench.

Overall, I thought Dallas had a good draft. They rebounded nicely after the first night.

Imagine Eifert with 1st pick and Frederick with 2nd round pick.

Not sure the logic in taking a TE second round and passing on the best TE in the class.

I like how Garrett said they had a 2nd round grade on Frederick and they took him because that's the position they wanted. Hate how 99% of the time you hear teams spread lies like "he was the best guy on our board", "we wanted him all along" etc.

Yea, that's true. Would be nice to get some dual TE sets going with witten and hanna/escobar. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing randle get some snaps (we know it'll happen because of how often Murray is out), and terrence williams too. Hopefully Frederick can anchor the line for us and give Romo more time in the pocket and help get our running game going again.

They ended up getting a top three WR in the draft because they traded down. What would you rather have? Tyler Eifert (don't get me wrong I love him too), and maybe Frederick. or Frederick, Escobar, and Williams.

Sometimes it's true. However, in this case I think they just got scared that he wouldn't be there in the second round for them and decided to draft by need and not best available. Honestly though, I was extremely shocked that they chose Escobar in the second when you had Larry Warford still available. I don't see how they think adding just one interior lineman will completely bolster their line. If they had also gotten Warford I believe the line would be fairly solid this year, now it seems like a hit or miss. You can hide one or two guys on the line, but they're a fool if they think they're gonna hide three people.
