I really hope my emissions test doesn't come up anytime soon. Need to wait a few months before I can afford a new car, but my current one has the check engine light on, which is auto-fail. I could reset it and try to get through the necessary number of drive cycles, but I doubt it'd stay off long enough to pass. I think it might need a new catalytic converter, which I obviously don't feel like paying for when I'm just going to replace the vehicle.
