$16m for the tag and we only have $29m in cap space. We still have needs that should be addressed in FA (Guard, TE, maybe WR?), as well as trying to keep Aaron Colvin. $16m for one year, after coming off a down year in 2016 and then an ACL injury this past season is a lot when he could just leave in FA next year.

Then add onto the fact that we were a couple minutes and a tipped pass away from the Super Bowl without him. He literally only played 3 snaps in the first game before he got hurt.

He's good and I don't want to see him leave, but he isn't Antonio Brown or Julio Jones good.

Theres only one AB, but I definitely think he had julio jones potential before the injury, and he's young enough to come back from it without missing a step if rehab went well. You we're literally saying you freed up enough money to franchise tag him no problem with money to spare. And he's leaving in FA now so the bolded doesn't make any sense anyway.

The bolded is talking about if we franchise tagged him this season. He'd get $16m for this year and could walk next year if he wanted.

He isn't anywhere close to Julio potential.

Also I thought we had freed up enough space because our cap was set at least at $35m+. Then they actually released the real cap numbers and it's only $29m.

There's only two simple reasons, if he doesn't resign here.

First, he only has $$ in his eyes and he's trying to get every dollar he can. This is 99% the reason.

Second, he just flat out doesn't want to be here.

It has nothing to do with winning, because this team is winning and is built to win, so that's no reason why he wouldn't sign here.

I think it's pretty obvious that the only thing in his mind is $$$$.

Our front office said that they want him back, but only at the right price. They know they have better players that'll need to be signed in the near future. Ramsey and Ngakoue are far more valuable then ARob will ever be.

#Jaguars have given RB Corey Grant the second-round tender. If he signs an offer sheet and JAX doesn't match, the Jaguars would get a second round pick from the new team.

The #Jaguars have extended exclusive rights tenders to OT Will Poehls and TE Ben Koyack.

Well I can tell you that he played during a lot of losing games, but he always played well. Rarely during that seven years did I say "Damn puz! Wtf was that"?

Totally bummed out that Robinson is going to chicago.
Super stoked about Nowell though. That should sure up Bortles blindside and enhance an all ready elite running game.
