As a season ticket holder that is looking to punt my tickets to the last 2 games of the season, it would be nice to see the ownership come out now that the team has been eliminated from the playoffs (again) and tell us that changes will be made.
I am not going to scream for coach Coughlin's head like many on this site, but the team cannot continue to keep the same coaches, players and just rely on hopefully some free agent signings and the draft. That formula has not worked over the last few seasons and now that the team has missed the playoffs 3 years in a row and 5 out of the last 6 years, I expect more than receiving a electronic survey in the mail. I expect change.
Perry Fewell should be fired. SD, a mediocre team scored on 7 of 9 possessions. Yes you can blame the offense for not doing anything keeping the D on the field longer than they should but the D didn't stop the pass or run.
Kevin Gilbride needs to seriously alter this offense or needs to be let go. I know you don't want to upset Eli but every QB in this league goes through the changing of offensive coordinators. The good ones adjust. Rivers and Rothlisberger, both in his class have had OC changes. So has Brees, Rodgers, Romo, Peyton and Brady. We can't keep a coach around babying the QB if at the end of the day we don't make the playoffs.
Finally you need to tell the GM, address what needs to be addressed. Enough with drafting players that are projects. (Nassib, Robinson) to name a few. OL, DL and LB needs to be addressed.
It is bad enough we paid A LOT for PSL's in a generic stadium. To continue to watch bad football while bringing in the same crew is not what we expect from this organization and you Mr. Mara need to assure the fan base things will be different next year. No one expects you to be Jerry Jones but it is time to stir it up a little.
