I see the confusion, but the meaning was that you can't object to what player is taken regardless of the position

It's a pretty standard rule for vamp league and you have been following it every week until now.

Everyone has access to waivers, but a day later than the Vampire. He'll be drafting last and only retired/unsigned/ded players and then acquiring players leftover after the draft. He has to make a call for the player he wants for that opponent by Wednesday of that week to thief after winning. Ex. Vamp calls for Andrew Luck, beats the team, takes Luck, but can't go after another QB the following week and the losing team gets a Vamp QB as compensation.

tl;dr

Trading and waivers are allowed for non-Vampires, but at a lower priority than the Vamp.
