I mean, was that not obvious lol? I bet on KC because I was worried about this game and figured I'd either make a bunch of fg and be a bit bitter about it, or we'd win a game I didn't feel confident about. Right off the bat Brady didn't look so great, and even that first fumble was after they fucking gouged us for 8 yards on the very first run. I was watching with two friends and from the first fucking play I told them "that Hunt guy is going to have a huge game". I didn't expect to see us completely implode at the end though, that was uncharacteristic for NE. They outplayed us on both sides of the field, Smith was nearly perfect and after a shaky first quarter, their defense stepped up and got the job done. Is what it is, hopefully they adjust and improve from this, we're going to need to be a lot better if we're going to make another SB run.

Edit : Still just ridiculous to me how people act though. Let me rub your face in this and if you dare turn away you're not a real fan, that shit makes nooooo sense lol. Typical and to be expected, but the mentality of some of these guys is just fucking outrageous.

No SB this year or ever again for the cheaters bb and tbb.

Grats on your bet. First game of the year always a tough bet. I'll wait for next week
As good as Smith was, I still believe most of it was our defense. Way too many blown coverage, but I understand with the new packages/schemes we are trying
Offense was pure horse shit. Chiefs D shat on us. Our receivers could not create separation. Edelman was missed

It's become the norm -- on JSP ofc
The day they stop making the threads/comments will be the day we are shit
So hopefully it continues because it means we still cookin

doNT'A hightower Mild MCL sprain, may not miss any games

Hako is so pathetic it makes me laugh, he spent the entire duration of the Patriots game picking fights with people in the Pats vs Chiefs thread, and that wasn't enough for him so he comes he to gloat about the pats' losing. lol. Going to be funny watching the Jags play this year at least.

We did an excellent job containing Kelce, but we forgot about Tyreek hill and this rookie RB hunt. Brady needs to play better as well.

KC is a great team though... 12 win team last year... though KC took some injuries tonight; Berry has an achilles injury.

Only highlight I can think of on defense was the McCourty hit on Kelce. Every other highlight involved the Chiefs torching us
Other than that, the entire team looked bad. I said the oline played pretty good. I think it was about the Chiefs secondary doing a fantastic job. That's why the offense was so poor.
And that's true, 12 wins. People are just quick to laugh and worry about our loss -- everyone talking about PATRIOTSLOL instead of focusing on the Chiefs big win

McCourty made another great tackle besides that as well, can't remember on who. Jon Jones and Brandon King each had nice plays on special teams. I assume Gilmore must have done decent because I didn't hear his name once until that blown coverage between him and McCourty.

Chiefs were rushing 3 a lot. But yeah our o-line was fine. Alex smith isn't going to play that well every game too (if he does, he might get MVP lol).

By worst possible injury I assume you mean the player not the injury? lol. It';s just a sprain. haven't heard anything on 'dola yet. just "head injury" which is the same as we heard last night

1. The Patriots were 81-0 in the history of Gillette Stadium when leading at the half in the regular season before Thursday.

2. Tom Brady completed 44.4 percent of his passes, which was his lowest in any game since 1/1/06 vs. Miami.

3. The 42 points were the most points allowed in the Belichick era. (They've allowed 41 points on three occasions.)

4. It was the first time the Patriots allowed two touchdowns of 75 yards or more in a game in the Belichick era.

5. The Patriots are now 102-2 when leading by 10 points or more at any point in the game since 2001, includes the playoffs.

6. Kareem Hunt finished with the most yards from scrimmage (246) by any player in his NFL debut since the 1970 merger.

7. It was Brady's first regular-season loss at home in which he played the whole game against an AFC team since the Jets in Week 10 of 2006.

Missing a Point:

8. Kareem Hunt fumbled the ball on his very first run during his NFL career.
