So many people only believe evidence when it suits them.

I get that, from a rational perspective, what the missionary (or whatever you want to call him) was patently reckless in doing what he did. He took a risk and paid dearly for it.

However, he is also the victim of an ideology. The guy was probably inculcated from birth, being led to believe that spreading religious dogma was worth sacrificing his life to do. If he grows up in a different household, he probably lives a normal life and dies of natural causes rather than being led to throw away his life like this.
