I was the same and I wholeheartedly regret how I treated teachers looking back on it now. After a teacher broke me and my entire outlook on the system, I spent every class trying to break the teachers that weren't already broken. Succeeded in breaking a few for sure and I hate myself for being like that, but I was just so fucking bitter back then. I'm hoping my kid isn't a cancerous little fuck like I was.
My 4th grade teacher was also my favorite, he was an amazing person who spent a lot of his personal money to buy better books and supplies for the classroom that the school refused to give us.
I was never bitter and hateful. Just a smart-ass that wasn't afraid to make jokes and give teachers a hard time.
