why would anyone fear a guy who had like 15 yards today?

Because he has healthy ankles.

He's a very explosive player. I don't fault our backs too much. I didn't get to see the game--but from what I saw in week 1 and what I've read--seems like our like blows giant penis.

I give stafford a hard time--but god damn dude is dying

Pisses me off though because great qbs change the way they play when they need to.

When Rodgers knows his line is weak he moves around and becomes annoying as fuck--while also making great plays while moving.

I don't feel like there's anything unifying the lions offense.

When the patriots are in the red zone--you're almost certain they're going to get a td. I don't get that feeling at all when the lions are in the red zone--even if they're driving up the field. Brady is connected with his team. Stafford is not.

I've flipped back and forth in this post. At the end of the day the entire fucking team has sucked balls the past 2 weeks. The worst part about it--this team has the potential to be the best.

What's everyone's thoughts on no one taking up for stafford on the late hit by Barr?

Yeah there's a report that the team doesn't respect Stafford, that Laken was the only one to stand up for him

I don't think it's true but you never know, I just think at that point the lions were demoralized and the Vikings were purposely hitting Stafford

/e or its Jim caldwells calm demeanor that the team has taken up but I do believe our team lacks leadership on both sides of the ball

I think this is the key. Looking at all the individual talent there's no way we shouldn't be putting up 30+ points a game. We have one of the best receiving tandems in the league, Ebron looks like he actually kind of knows what he's doing out there, Joique and Ameer should form a legit one-two punch in the back field, and Stafford has a cannon arm. If that offense could be unified and have chemistry with one another we could be scary.

With the way our defense has stepped back this year our offense needs to take a huge step up if we want to have a winning season.

We are losing the game because of the lines.

O-line is god awful. As already mentioned, Stafford is being hit like crazy... but we can't run for shit either. There is literally no blocking. Lucas is a piece of shit.
Joique is obviously not himself. He has lost a step & bounces around too much in the backfield. He needs to sit until he can play like he used too. And why the coaching staff gives him the ball anytime we have a crucial play is beyond me.

Defensive line is a POS too. Can't stop the run to save their lives. And on top of that, can't get pressure on the QB. The Vikings scored 17 points in the first half and Teddy was only 6 / 8. They scored 17 points on 8 pass attempts. Christ.

The D-line looks awful as well. If it isn't evident already, missing Suh hurt the line a lot. Linebackers look lost, I am looking forward to seeing if that improves when Levy is back. Mathis always seems to be 2-3 steps behind his man. The lack of a line really showing in the secondary.

This is disappointing after last year. Really shitty performances all around.

I have to agree with the lines being the fault of our problems, Levy can help stop the run but how much? We'll have to wait and see.

I do believe this upcoming draft class is pretty loaded with elite talents similar to the clowney/Mack/Watkins draft class and if we take anything other than trenches imma be enraged

0-2 already has me talking draft :(

/e @taniaganguli: Since 1990, 3 of 124 0-3 teams made the playoffs while 24.8% of 1-2 teams did per @ESPNStatsInfo.

It's really our only need. The only other justifiable draft selections would be our secondary imo, but even they have proven to be effective when we have a dominant pass rush. We're loaded with talent at our offensive skill positions and our linebackers, when healthy, could be the best in the league.

The way we have played so far, another 0-16 seems increasingly possible
