Lmao, you people think your vote matter or means anything or politicians actually give a fuck about you(whatever side they are). Dude I live in Illinois, our politics are probably the dirtiest and most corrupt in any state, the Democrats and Republicans. Im not supporting any of that bullshit.
Ideally citizens would seek to inform themselves before they vote. It's not very hard to look at a provisional ballot and then do a cursory google search to see what the candidates stand for.
Although knowing what candidates stand for requires background information on current events and key political issues, which isn't as quickly researched. It takes time and effort to be informed, which I think turns people off politics and government. Not everyone wants to spend their free time reading non-fiction lol. That's how I was as a kid too, so I totally get it.
