Long shot but whatever

Looking to start investing into my 401k but not sure what is a good percentage to do.

6% is average, I believe.

As much as you can - seriously.

The general room of thumb is 15% of your salary not including your employer match.

I would do the minimum amount needed to get your full employer match and put the remaining into a Roth IRA. They are easy to setup and your gains are non-taxable.

Lmk if you interested in more details. Investing is a side hobby of mine.

This is one of the main reasons I felt your "LOLREDDIT" comments were unsubstantiated. There are plenty of amazing subreddits for credit, personal finance and financial independence. I would highly recommend checking them out. Literally bumped my credit score 100 points in 7 months with those subs and the credit karma app. A lot of resources for setting aside money and investing for the future that I've marked for later once I get settled in my new city.

Sooooo, my gf and I are looking to move to CO. Anyone from there or lived there and have any recommendations or experiences they can share?

Just looking for a change of scenery.

Spent some time there and I've had a few friends who have lived there. Could ask them about what it was like living there and post up their response if you want? Living in NM, CO was where pretty much where everyone who left went to. More progressive, can legally smoke ofc, better job market. There are a lot of rural areas/small towns, but it has thriving cities with phenomenal music scenes and enjoyable areas. Some crazy ass parties there as well. I'm not big on the whole rave/dance shit, but they have absolutely insane drug parties for that shit there.


Side note: I hate being fucking sick

Got a terrible sore throat and I can feel myself getting warmer/more fatigued. Shit fucking sucks.
