Yup, only thing I play on ps4 is cod and exclusives. Apparently red dead looks insane on the X too.
Per a comment on the Digital Foundry test video:
Quote
XB1X:
-Native 4k, very solid framerate save one cutscene and the odd frame skip here and there. Textures are slightly better than the Pro, shadows are better than the Pro, edges are much sharper and the game looks far better then the Pro. He goes so far as to say it could be one of the biggest wins for the X in terms of visual fidelity.
PS4 Pro:
-1920x2160p, half of 4k. It uses a temporal reconstruction technique that increases the resolution but it makes thing look quite blurry in some cases. With scene changes, and even most of the time just playing there are lots of jaggies and some mushy looking textures because of it. Less stable frame rate, frame dips in one of the towns where X was a locked 30 sees the Pro dip to 28 and hover below 30 most of time.
PS4 and XB1:
PS4 is 1080p, XB1 is 864p. Both seem to work well in normal exploration in the open parts of the map, whereas the town that saw the Pro's framerate drop can tank these two. Oddly the PS4 seems to go lower than the base XB1 in this town, and they both have framerate dips in the same areas. XB1 shadows look really rough due to the low resolution, and it looks extremely soupy. PS4 doesn't have the same lack of clarity but the visual downgrade needed to get it running on these systems is obvious.
Despite one cutscene where the X's framerate dropped lower than any other system, it blows away every console in every category, probably one of the biggest gaps I've seen between Pro and X after seeing like 20 of DF's videos.
