GREEN BAY–Wednesday might be a watershed day toward the prospect of Aaron Rodgers returning to action this week. The Packers host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

“Aaron Rodgers’ situation will be evaluated Wednesday morning and we’ll have a plan for him on Wednesday,” Packers Coach Mike McCarthy said on Monday when asked what the plan is for Rodgers this week. “We’re game-planning right now for Matt Flynn.”

Rodgers has been out of action since Nov. 4, when he sustained a fractured left collarbone on the first drive of a game against the Chicago Bears.

“Randall Cobb’s workout today was very good. We’ll see how he feels tomorrow,” McCarthy added.


We got lucky vs Falcons and Cowboys, I don't see us beating Pittsburgh without Rodgers.
