I spent 4 years watching the kid, just letting you guys know that hes very durable which is why he had 1000+ yards in 3 straight seasons. The only time he ever got hurt was in a situation where anyone would get hurt (lineman falling on his leg, etc.) he consistently carried the ball 30+ times/game in college and was ready to go back out for more. I understand NFL is tougher to get that many carries but still. Kid is a beast and he will make the defense respect the run, which of course will make CJ more disgusting than he already is. If the Lions can find a way to salvage Suh's spot I think the Lions will be able to win the division and maybe even go to a SB/win the SB

I think Abdullah is a tough fucking dude. No way he gets injured--he could carry 20 a game(no one can touch him)
Cannot wait to have Tulloch back....
Prater could be better than Hanson as far as range goes...he's honestly consistent enough to where it's hard to tell a difference
We are a playoff team is stafford keeps it together
No doubt Abdullah is a tough dude, I don't question that at all. He's jacked and runs hard. My analysis was purely on aesthetics when viewing him in person next to the defenses. The dude is the smallest player on the field. With that being said, I think this makes him more injury prone to hard hits, especially as a running back.
Now, this doesn't mean small backs can't make it, or not sustain long and prosperous carriers (See, e.g. Sanders and Smith - both were small, but arguably more solid/stout).
Abdullah will last if he can avoid taking big hits. And doing his damage running to the outside and on screen passes/dumps. Doubt he will last long if he's running through the tackles (hopefully that's what Bell and Riddick are for).
