Couple things:

1) Awesome turn out of fans for the first pre-season game. The stadium and atmosphere felt like an actual game. Fans were buzzin, having a good time, and genuinely exited.

2) The more and more I see Tate play, the more and more I like him. Absolutely one of the best receivers for YAC. Think that was reinforced today.

3) Finally don't have a heart attack every time the Lions go for 3. Prater isn't quite a Hanson, but he's locked on and solid. Backup did a nice job today too (40+ yarder with pressure).

4) Defense is going to be solid. Was concerned without Suh, but they managed to hang tough on the Jet's drive. There is a noticeable gap in the middle though. BUt a healthy Touloch will fill the need.

5) Abdullah. Wow. Fun to watch. Good vision. Great speed. He'll be interesting to watch this year. BUT!!! God is he SMALL! I hope to dear god he stays healthy. I've got some major concerns about him getting 10+ touches a game. Keep a watch out for injuries on him.

6) Salas caught my eye tonight (no pun intended). I don't think it's the last time you'll be hearing his name this season. Kid is fighting for a spot and if he keeps it up, I'm sure we'll be seeing him on Sunday's.

I think Abdullah is a tough fucking dude. No way he gets injured--he could carry 20 a game(no one can touch him)

Cannot wait to have Tulloch back....

Prater could be better than Hanson as far as range goes...he's honestly consistent enough to where it's hard to tell a difference

We are a playoff team is stafford keeps it together

I spent 4 years watching the kid, just letting you guys know that hes very durable which is why he had 1000+ yards in 3 straight seasons. The only time he ever got hurt was in a situation where anyone would get hurt (lineman falling on his leg, etc.) he consistently carried the ball 30+ times/game in college and was ready to go back out for more. I understand NFL is tougher to get that many carries but still. Kid is a beast and he will make the defense respect the run, which of course will make CJ more disgusting than he already is. If the Lions can find a way to salvage Suh's spot I think the Lions will be able to win the division and maybe even go to a SB/win the SB
