I think the only head scratcher at this point is the FB pick...but we will see I guess

Never hurts to have someone else to block and run goal line packages. Bell was alright but someone who is better is better.I am sure there is a reason he was a security guard and not drafted.

did they release Felton then? I don't recall them using him too often for run plays but more for the pass to try to protect Stafford. I'm not saying it's a bad pick or anything, just curious to see how they utilize him in the offense since it's more pass than run, even though Lombardi and Caldwell have already said they want to run more. Which would be good if they CAN get a run game open. I still haven't seen or heard what the deal is with Sims yet either, would like to not have an all rookie or 1yr OL starting off

drafting a good run blocking guard in tomlinson, bringing manny back, drafting abdullah and a fullback, sounds like they're taking steps to try to get our run game going.

A lot of times FBs drafted don't end up being FBs. Could be converted to RB, TE or even OL. Now... there has been no talk about that. I think they want to use him as a FB... but there are a lot of possibilities for a 5th rounder.

He's 5'11 240, not good for much besides FB or power runner.
