On top of lacking talent in certain areas we are also decimated with injuries..... lol when it rains it pours

We always have injury charts miles long every season, we need a new conditioning coach or something. Something isn't right.... football is a contact sport, blah blah, blah.

David Wilson is not the problem. The O-line is.

If the O-line blocked like they did tonight for Jacobs, Wilson would have rushed for 200 yards and broken at least one long run for a TD.

Jacobs had such HUGE holes at times.

any rb can run well when the oline blocks well, why would teams pay so much more for elite rbs then? the difference is they can run well without good blocking and turn nothing into something, which is clearly not david wilson.

If David Wilson's condition is career ending I feel so bad for the kid...... so bad. He's a hell of a competitor and he's so talented and just starting to put it all together, just as Bradshaw did and Jacobs before him, and Tiki for him.

Would be such a devastating blow to our team as well because we have SO MANY needs in the draft/FA, to have to spend a pick on a RB in the 1st/2nd.

OL
LB
CB
DE

are all much much higher needs.

You haven't watched our O-line block so please spare me... because if you had you wouldn't be giving the typical line.

We have hands down the worst Offensive Line in the league. Hands down. I can't tell you how many times Wilson is met in the backfield and is lucky enough to get it back to the LOS or pick up 1-2 yards. He fights hard with such piss poor blocking. It's not just Wilson getting met in the backfield a half a second after he touches the ball, it's any RB in the backfield.

If the OL blocked for Wilson how they blocked for Jacobs against the Bears, Wilson would have eclipsed 200 yards and at least 2 TD's, easily with his speed. Jacobs had 100+ yards 2 TD's. Jacobs got into the open field plenty of times, Wilson breaks those.

And no where have I ever called David Wilson an elite RB.

If the Falcons want to salvage their season, they should pick Nicks up. Not sure how that would work in the long term though.
