I defended Rodgers so I will with Love as well. Our route running is abhorrent and we still can’t catch a cold. Love made some poor decisions, but I think there’s something there. Watson is Scantling 2.0 and I’m not sure dobs starts on 3/4 of the teams in the league. I also don’t understand throwing 3x deep goes to watson on 3 pivotal downs when even if love isn’t sacked, and the ball is accurate, he has a 50/50 shot of catching the ball. That has to be the lowest possible percentage play we could possibly run.

Love is so careless with the ball though, it's terrible. Rodgers was historically good at taking care of the ball. Look how bad his first interception was tonight, then at the end of the game he just chucks up a jump ball on 3rd down at least live 1 more down in that situation. He's got 2 TD and 6 INT last 3 games. I'm not a fan at the moment but he is under siege a ton right now with a banged up OLine but some of his bad throws are some of the worst throws I've watched a QB throw.

Sometimes riding the bench behind a good player doesn’t always benefit someone, unfortunately this seems to be the case. Still too early to tell though. Losing to the Raiders on primetime is not a way to persuade people otherwise either.
