To talk about Fournette a little bit more...

I hope the Fournette from the first 1/3 of the season shows up, because he hasn't been playing anything like that guy lately. I don't know if it's the ankle giving him issues still, or if hes just hit the rookie wall after an incredibly long season. He hasn't been looking for contact like he was early on and isn't hitting the hole anything like he was in that first 1/3 of the season. Deion Sanders called him the tip toe bandit the other day and that has been spot on as of late.

These rookies (granted they aren't rookies anymore at this point of the season) haven't had much of any time off. He went from dealing with a bad ankle his final year of college, straight into the work out/draft process etc etc. I wonder if his ankle ever fully got back to 100%.

Either way, him and all of these other rooks have basically been going non stop since their final college games. Over a full year of work, work and more work. Vets are getting tired at this point of the season, you can only imagine how these first timers feel right now.

He’s faced some pretty good run defenses, and also jags have been in some obvious running situations

True, but you can just tell that somethings off. If you've watched him in every game this year, it's very easy to see that he's not running the same as he was during that first 1/3 of the season. I think a lot has to do with the ankle, but the explosiveness just hasn't been there.

I mean, in that game vs the Steelers in week 5, he was talking all game long and waving on guys to come hit him mid play. Now it's almost like he's waiting to get hit, instead of him delivering the hit.

Well he said it himself, he hates the cold

Could have a direct effect. And obvious his ankle is fucking with him too

Ivory and Yeldon are decent enough, maybe they should distribute the carries better

Yeldon is the 2nd best RB on this roster. Ivory can pound it, but he's bad at pass protecting and I worry about him fumbling the ball every time he touches it.

Yeldon is the best receiving RB and best pass blocking RB on this roster. He's our 3rd down back and didn't play vs the Bills because of an illness.

Corey Grant is one I'd like to see in the mix a little bit more. Dude has game breaking speed and can be a threat to take it too the house on any play. Problem is he's not very big so he can't carry the load and he can't pass protect to save his life. They should definitely get him involved more, but there's only so many touches to go around.

Fournette is the guy, so you have to give him his touches regardless. Yeldon will get some touches because he's the 3rd down back, but they need to work in 5-10 touches for Grant imo.

I'm positive Yeldon rushes for 1k yards in his rookie season (2015) even behind arguably the worst OL in the NFL, if he doesn't miss those 4 games.

He had 740 rushing yards on 182 carries in 12 games. He did go over 1k total yards that season though.
