I play Ps4, but I wouldn't be opposed to any tips or anything like that.
I played the second half of MUT this season and it was my first time playing, so I don't really know what to expect from the start.
Well, I have a ton of MUThead Coins so I can start the game with whatever I want essentially.. but,
Play the AI seasons games to earn coins/packs/rewards needed for future sets.
Play the game to the best of your teams ability. If you have 2 great MLB and a soso DL, pick a 3-4 D. It actually makes a big difference having players that fit a scheme rather than best available overall.
Look for key players at certain positions. This last game, faster corners dominated those with slightly higher coverage stats, Quick edge rushers were better than strong ones.
Snipe. This is pretty much how I make most my coins. Search a criteria in the Auctions (I generally do like 90-94 or whatever just under the best is [when game first released golds will be expensive, near the end they'll be pennies]) and look for underpriced cards that you can flip for a profit.
-I've had quite a few ridiculous snipes where people either accidentally posted a card for a very low amount or they just didn't want the hassle of selling it outright. You can make hundreds of thousands of coins profit just on a single lucky buy.
Play against real people. They have a seasons mode where you earn rewards after a certain amount of wins against real people..
Even playing against the AI earns you rewards like packs, which could contain any available card in the game.
Keep all bronze/silver cards. They'll all go pretty cheap at the beginning of the game, but near the end they will all be needed in sets that give amazing rewards.. and some of the silvers are super expensive (rare) and can make you quite a bit. I probably make over a million coins each year just in extra silvers I have.
That goes for all cards, even golds and elites will be needed in sets.. but obviously you need to sell some stuff to make profit.
There's weekly events that unlock packs/rewards/coins and they are generally easy. Try to knock those out each week as they usually have a collectible item that you can't get again until
maybe at the very end when Madden 17 is about to release.
Holidays always have an event and they always give good rewards.
Don't buy packs! (or very seldom when you have excess coins and a good team). Packs through the last 2 seasons have shown to be very poor. Yes, you could get an amazing limited edition numbered card worth a ton.. but the chances are miniscule.
Buy players you need instead. It's much more wise to spend that 10k on a significant upgrade to 1 position than it is to spend that 10k on a pack and hope for an upgrade at any position. (beginning game packs are ok, since most all players will be upgrades)
I'll type more when I think about it.
