Eagles buying low on players they feel have higher ceilings. I like this strategy more than going after the biggest "name" and overpaying for guys that suck dick.

Grab the guys that have something to prove, coming off an injured season, etc. that have low risk but high reward.

That was their problem with Nnamdi, you were having really good success with Asante and you added DRC+Nnamdi and tried to play them in defenses they weren't used to. No wonder it didn't work, now you're building guys that fit into your scheme.

we are still overpaying some of the players though...

Eagles front office clearly views that as a season they can dismiss, considering the year before he had a huge season (11 or 12 sacks with 7 passes defended?). I'm not even sure what kind of money he's guaranteed though, anyone know?
