Bengals release Chris Crocker. Thank you for dying for our sins, Jesus.

Weakest starter on D by a decent margin.

Signed Terence Newman today.

Real excited about it. Gives us more flexibity on Draft day and now we don't have to take a corner in the 1st.

I fully expect us to draft at least one or maybe even two of the following: David DeCastro, Michael Floyd, Cordy Glenn, Nick Perry or maybe even take a talent like Brockers if he falls.

I've never been as calm or confident leading up to the draft as i am this year.

Injury prone.

But he's nothing special. I loved him when he came out as he's one of the most athletic backers in the league, but he just doesn't do any one thing great. Just average all around. He became expendable even last year when we signed Manny Lawson and Thomas Howard.

He's solid though, and for a 5th the Giants got a starting linebacker. I think he needed a change of scenery, he might blow up with you guys. Idk.

Maybe this is a sign Mike Brown wants a LB in the draft? Who knows...

CINCINNATI -- The Bengals on Friday re-signed tight end Donald Lee and linebacker Dan Skuta.

Cincinnati also officially announced the addition of free-agent cornerback Terence Newman, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, who agreed to a deal on Thursday.

Newman played in 133 games with 131 starts for Dallas over the past nine seasons. He has 32 career interceptions, with an average of 10.8 yards per return.

Lee joined the Bengals as a free agent on Sept. 13 of last season, playing in nine games. And Skuta has appeared in the last 37 Bengals games, including two postseason tilts.

The Bengals went 9-7 last season en route to an appearance in the AFC playoffs.

I hate the idea of drafting Michael Floyd in the first but it's awesome having the flexibility to do that.

I am dreaming that they get DeCastro.

I would love it. Floyd's just skyrocketed up boards and i don't think he gets out of the top 10-12.

It was great having Housh and Chad in their primes, but Green and Floyd would technically be rich mans version of them.

DeCastro would be nice, but i we picked up Wharton and Bell, with Boling being groomed right behind them. I don't think we even intend on going Guard in the 1st now honestly.

I don't even know who i want now. Like i said before, it's really strange going into the draft and having 1 or 2 huge needs. That will allow us to go BPA, which is great.
