5th year option.

It'll give us another full year to see him play. If he keeps playing good football next season, you sign him to the long term. If he reverts back to making stupid mistakes you let him walk and move on.

Draft will be interesting I wonder if we take a QB mid rounds like luke falk

I assume we go OT first round maybe a CB to replace Colvin or LB to replace poz 2nd

I still wouldn't have a problem with drafting a QB somewhere in the 2nd-4th rounds. Either he'll be the back up for 4 years, or he'll take over in a year if Bortles moves on. Henne's time is up here imo.

TE is the biggest need by far and should be considered heavily with our 1st pick.

I'd then probably say OG and then maybe a swing OT.

If Colvin leaves we could probably get his replacement in the 3rd-5th rounds.

Other then TE and some depth on the OL. There really isn't any holes on this roster right now.

Fumagali looks like an elite TE prospect but I don’t think he’s going to last late 20s for us I’m not familiar with a lot of other TEs in this class

I really don’t want to play you guys. You guys will be scary come January. Locking up the 3 seed might be your best bet to get to the championship game tbh. Getting the Steelers in the divisional round would be huge for you guys since y’all dicked Big Ben.

This Defense has dicked on a lot of QBs this season. It's a Super Bowl caliber Defense without a doubt. It'll keep us in every game, vs anybody. As long as the Offense and/or Special Teams doesn't have a complete melt down, there's no reason this team can't make a real run in the playoffs. The Defense really is that good. We'll be a tough out vs anybody.

I don't want any part of seeing the Chargers again for the 2nd time this season though. No thanks.

I think we took care of them but they might snag a 6th seed.... barely. Then again they don’t control their own destiny at this point. I think you guys have the scariest defense outside of Minnesota.

Hurns returned to practice today..

Quote
Out since the Chargers game Nov. 12 because of a high ankle sprain, Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns returned to practice Wednesday.

“I’m not going to be 100 percent, even weeks from now,” Hurns said. “I know I’ll have to deal with some things.”

Bortles said it was “pretty easy,” getting back in-sync with Hurns on the field.

“He’s incredible,” Bortles said. “The first play he was out there, he was making sure guys were lined up right. It’s good to have him back. He’s always in the right spot, helping guys out and making my job a lot easier. It’s good to see him running around.”

Lee in a boot...

Quote
Receiver Marqise Lee (right ankle) was in a walking boot and had a scooter next to his locker. He was injured while run blocking early in the Houston game.

Lee said it is the “exact same injury,” he sustained Aug. 13 in practice that kept him the final three preseason games.

“Nothing too crazy; going to be out for a while,” Lee said.

If the Jaguars don’t get a first-round bye, their playoff opener will be 20 or 21 days since Lee’s injury. That could put his status in doubt.

I personally think Lee is getting shown up by our young talent.
Not entirely sure he will be a jag next year
