Apparently quite a few times as it is still occurring and still a problem. I do not condone such actions by any means....

It's all in the phrasing.. there will always be ways for people to "take advantage" of others because of the way things are phrased in the rules. As I said, he did not technically break any rules. It was really shitty of him to do, but yeah.. opportunistics, eh?

Technically, according to the posted rules, its not a welch.
You are lucky the vast majority are voiding that and siding with your case.
I wouldn't be demanding a welcher tag before he has an opportunity to pay.

I stated; I do not agree with what he did. We need stricter rules regarding bets. PM bets have always been frowned upon. Unfortunately, the loser in this situation probably did not know that.

Extort did not technically confirm the bet; therefore, he did not welch. Did he lose all respect in my eyes? Yes. Did he "technically" welch? No.
