Can't imagine how epic that must have felt as a pats fan
Should be called the biggest meltdown in sb history rather than comeback tho

Ninkovich retiring today apparently. This a huge blow to our defense. First time I have to question if we are actually a 13-win team again.

Lol?
He's the perfect definition of an average player.

He's a leader in defense and towed the line perfectly.

It hurts a bit.

No question about his leadership
Still don't think it's an impactful loss as others might I guess

Seriously can't wait for the season

Fam-Guy is right

There has been speculation about Nink retiring for a few weeks now (he hadn't reported to camp for "personal" reasons)

It's definitely not a huge blow, not sure what Kayeto is smoking. Definitely will be strange not seeing him out there, his presence will be missed but I don't think it's a huge loss or anything. Between Kyle Van Noy or Shea McClellin one of them will have to step up at the OLB position, As for DE's, we actually have a decent depth at that position IMO, between Flowers, and newcomers Kony Ealy and Lawrence Guy, I think we're fine there. Also we picked up David Harris from the Jets, but think he's an ILB?

The patriots are one team I don't think you have to worry about leadership issues (other boston sports teams, now that's different lol). It's not like Matt Patricia left during the offseason... still plenty of veteran player presence in the D... McCourty... Hightower... etc...

All i'll say is thank jesus we retained Hightower lol. He's the glue of our front 7. praying he stays healthy.
