Went out to the bar last week and was shooting pool with this hawks fan for a few hours. We got to talking about football and as soon as I say I'm a pats fan, he immediately says fuck tom Brady. All night he talked shit about Brady and kept making comments saying he hoped for his death or for him to get severely injured.

This is just what I've come to expect from most football fans of any other team lol.

They really do. It was bad in New Mexico, but so far, Washington has been way worse for people acting like fucking assholes when I try to civilly discuss football.

The absurd amount of Seattle gear I see still bugs me, and it's like impossible to discuss any faults Seattle may have without people just losing their shit at you here. I get dirty looks everywhere if I wear a jersey or anything NE related. Pretty much every bar is a Seahawks bar too, so it'll be a bitch to watch the game out of the house without getting booed

PA isn't bad tbh, but I imagine in the actual city would be a lot worse. I live like 30 min away in the boonies, so most people can't form a coherent sentence let alone talk football.
