@Andrea_Kremer: Finley is up & walking, plans to return to GB today. He hopes to start light workouts in a few weeks, anticipating 3-4 month recovery.

Finley's agent, Blake Baratz, said Wednesday that while surgery may not be 100 percent necessary, it's "a proactive measure that should alleviate future risks with regards to a similar episode or re-injury." Last week, Finley was placed on injured reserve, possibly ending his tenure in Green Bay, but Baratz said Finley has every intention of resuming his football career once fully recovered.

If he won't take 8 mil a year, adios, my baby-faced friend. Either way, I was hoping we'd take a NT type at the top of the draft if one was there near BPA level and this only reinforces that want. Highly doubt Nix would be available, but if our season keeps tanking, who knows. Maybe NT, TE, S with our top 3.

Winning out is going to be our only option when Rodgers gets back. And even then it will be a tough road to the playoffs.
