xnozx, what is this about? Is Jerry Jones right? How will you stop the Eagles fast-paced offense if you had to fake injuries against Dallas?

TC on Jones' saying NYG faked injuries "it's absolutely not true. both players were injured"..jenkins, conner

Who knows if they did vs Dallas. It didn't look like it though.

Yes, they have in the past, so has every team.

Washington looked like they did vs Philly tonight. I'm sure it's not going to be the last time defenses use this against the Eagles.... there's no way to prove it LOL

The league is going to get so pissed LOL

It'd be great if we could pick him up and have him run north/south instead of east/west like he used to too often.

He was trying to extend his career and stay healthy, you can't blame him. Our O-line was so terrible his last few years he was with us.... couldn't open a hole bigger than a foot and even when they did it would close in 1.2 seconds.

The O-line we have now didn't look good against Dallas either but hopefully getting Bass back and moving Boothe to LG will give us more maulers in the run game.

Wilson's problem not in his head, Tiki knows why Wilson is fumbling

Quote
Tiki Barber believes David Wilson’s problem is in his hands, not his head.

“It’s mechanical,” Barber told USA TODAY Sports when asked to diagnose why the current Giants’ running back dropped the ball twice Sunday on seven carries.

Barber knows of what he speaks. He ran with the football more than 3,000 times in his 10-year career with the New York Giants. He fumbled only 53 times, thanks to lessons from Giants coach Tom Coughlin. Barber, like Wilson, developed a reputation for fumbling during his first two years in the league, losing six and forcing him to change his technique.

“He has to be limit ball exposure BEFORE contact, not try to hold on afterward, as happened in his 2nd fumble,” Barber wrote in an e-mail. “You have to have an easy methodology to anticipate contact, cover your 4 points of contact, then go to the ground or keep running.”

Translated: Know where the hits are coming from and whether to take or dodge them.

Both of Wilson’s fumbles happened when opponents were able to strip the ball as he held it low and tried to pin it again his body (video below.)

That has got to change, Barber said. Wilson must carry the ball higher — a refrain every high school coach in America has screamed this season — and make better use of his off-hand.

“I did this by holding it high and tight, always (so that I didn’t have to think about bringing it up when contact was coming),” Barber wrote, “and using my off hand to cover and squeeze my ball hand wrist when I sensed danger.”
