Keys to the game this week:
1. Get Pryor in rhythm.
Pryor missed last week's game, as we're all painfully aware of. This game will be a check-in to see if Pryor is back to 100%. Get him running, get him passing, get him integrated so he can get his head back in the game and be ready to rock and roll for the rest of the season. Pryor really is our offense at this phase in the franchise, so make him as comfortable as possible and get him as much playing time as we can.
2. Commit to the run.
...that being said, Pryor cannot do it all on his own. He has shit for WRs, and while he's pretty good he can't carry the load alone. Get McFadden and Jennings involved in the offense and really stay true to the rushing game. We're not a team that can or should win through passing every down. We're a rushing team, and we have good RBs and our line can run block pretty well. Make use of it, don't just bandwagon on the rest of the NFL's strategy if you don't have the personnel to do so.
3. Blitz early and often.
Defensively, our secondary is a mess. We aren't going to stand up against Rivers, who has been phenomenal this season. The only way we can win is if our defense can knock Rivers around, and that means bringing extra men to provide extra pressure. Mix in some safety blitzes as well, just to get pressure from different areas of the field. But if we rely on our front four today, it's going to be a mess.

I would be quite disappointed if we sign Freeman. Pryor has shown some real spunk and has come a LONG way in just this season. He's got everything you want in a QB...athletic, leadership, good attitude and work ethic, and he's starting to make plays with his arm too. His accuracy is a bit iffy right now, but that should only get better as he plays. His decision making is looking pretty good, esp for a young QB. I don't see any reason why we'd take someone else at this stage in our franchise.
