He did much better than I expected, but they absolutely have to sign somebody else this week. If the past two weeks haven't proved you can't go into a game with one QB on the roster, what will?

Not every team can have backup qb like Folesgod

Flynn knows Philbin's system. Philbin is not in Green Bay anymore. Flynn has a wet noodle for an elbow. Flynn is a midget.

I would rather keep playing Tolzien and sign some complete unknown to back him up for a few weeks. After all, if we can't keep one stinking quarterback upright and active for 3 weeks, I'm just gonna throw in the damn towel.

all this puts a lot into perspective. we've been blessed with a healthy QB for years and now that he's out for more than a single game, it shows how mismatched the team is when compared with the rest of the NFC. lots of holes outside of QB that reared their ugly heads the last couple weeks. Defense, playcalling, lolcrosby and other weaknesses exposed.

still sucks though obv

Indeed. The sooner Rodgers gets back, the better. Question is, will it be too late to matter.

I see what you're saying, but I can't for the life of me figure out what those "holes" are. We have players that are playing like shit, yes. But these are good players that are playing like shit. Take our secondary for example. Yes, they are playing terrible football, but those are legit players. Shields, Hayward, House, Williams, Hyde, Bush... most teams would kill to go half that deep in their secondary. I don't consider it a "hole" because they are legit players. For whatever reason though, they are under-performing.

The same holds true for nearly all of our "holes." Looking across our roster, we have the talent. Tons of it. So much in fact that with players dropping like flies, we can still field a team that on paper looks pretty damn decent. For whatever reason though....

I think it's just time to part ways with Capers. Unfortunately, this team really can't get away from the 3-4, so who knows how much it will really do.

I've been wanting Capers gone for years, he's a disease to the team.

how did you type all that out and not understand my point?

we had almost 100% of the first-team defense out there and still got ravaged. Racist Cooper had 2 easy TDs and no one made a play on the ball for the DeSean TD.

Shady ran all over us today as well.

That would be a hole, sir. Your starting defense not being able to stop anyone and only the Eagles missing field goals kept the score lower than it should have been
