Texans r done just face the facts. This was your 1 year to win because of manning getting hurt.
Next year will be the same old story about how the Texans underachieve.

That's a bunch of nonsense. Texans are 8-3 for the first time in their franchise history. This is Wade Phillips' first year as defensive coordinator and he's already turned them from one of the worst defenses of all time (statistically speaking), to the number one ranked defense in the entire league. Some of their best players on both sides of the ball are all young (Cushing, Reed, Watt, Foster, Tate)... etc... etc... I could go on and on.

Houston will be good for a long time. They finally have a defensive philosophy that works and a true identity as a team in place (smash mouth running team and play great defense). That's something they've never had before. This season was just the beginning. All of the hardcore Houston fans are proud of what they are doing this season.

Sure, we realize a good chance to win the Super Bowl this year is probably out of the question with the costly injuries to Matt Schaub and Mario Williams, but that doesn't mean they won't make the playoffs or even win a playoff game. Just to be in the playoffs for this team is something special.

I expect even bigger things next season and for the next four or five years in a row for that matter. This is going to be an elite team in the AFC for a lot of years to come. Anybody who follows the Texans closely should feel the same way. You act like this was their only chance to do big things. They're going to be even better next year.

Like your sig Says Haters Gonna Hate

I am tired of the Same old Excue Peyton Manning this Peyton Manning that... hate to break it to ya... Colts got more of an issue then just Peyton. and who says he comes back? the biggest threat is the Tennessee Titans in the near future in my opinion!!!

Well i dont think Mcnabb will come to be a backup so texans will have to make him the starter but i think as long as T.J. does decent it will be ok!!

Carl Dukes on the NFL Network keeps saying the Texans are a good fit for McNabb and they should sign him.

Let's see the kid T.J. Yates start a game tomorrow first. And then go from there, LOL

Dukes does make a good point that McNabb is a perfect fit for the Texans offensive system. I'm not against signing McNabb some time next week if things go in that direction. At least with McNabb and Delhomme, you have QBs with playoff experience, numberous conference championship gae experienc, Super Bowl experience, big-game experience, etc... wtc...

In the mean time, I hope Yates has a good game tomorrow.

Kellen Clemens, eh. Please release him (once and if McNabb is signed).

I doubt Jake will want to be on the team if McNabb is 2nd, or if TJ is 2nd. Clemens just wants a ez super bowl is all.

and yeah, feels bad for schaub, man.

I still can't sleep. Too much anticipation for the game against the Falcons today. Let's see how good Houston's defense is against Matt Ryan and all of those game-changing weapons the Falcons have. That's where the game is going to be won or lost. People are over-analyzing the offensive production with T.J. Yates behind center, but Atlanta's offense must be stopped or else it isn't going to matter.

Guys like Delhomme and McNabb can still earn a nice paycheck being a 2nd string and 3rd string quarterback. I'd imagine they would take that over not being on an NFL team. Man, I feel bad for Jeff Garcia. The guy tried out twice just for one last chance to be in the NFL. He would have enjoyed being the 3rd string QB. LOL
