Very few humans can, but almost every deep threat in the NfL can. You entirely missed the point

Yeah that's true, but you were saying you could go to a park at some cross street and find guys who can run 4.5

hell no.

Speed is like 1 piece of it too, Hill is special because he brings a lot to the table beyond his speed and quickness. Mecole Hardman has the same speed, but he's nowhere close to as quick, his hands are nowhere close to as good, and he doesn't break off his route to bail out his QB like Hill will.

Hill and Mahomes had something special, I'm sad that it's over. Losing him is going to be really damaging to the offense.

Lolol Tua sucks. Massive overpay for a receiver. I can go to the park on west 3rd and Gettysburg and sling it to 10 dudes who can run a 4.5 and catch well. Dolphins making a desperation trade in a crowded ass afc they have no chance of winning.

Agreed. Guys like Hill are a dime a dozen

I’ve had this argument many many times and the fact of the matter is wide receiver is the least important position in football.

They are hardly ever worth high draft picks and their production is very easy to replace. I can give you a million examples. Someone will always fill the role of the person being replaced, the targets have to go somewhere.

The Haul the chiefs got for a wide out pushing 30 is insane, it’s basically trade rape tbh.

AB leaves the Steelers-diontae Johnson replaces his production
Nuk leaves the Texans-Brandin cooks replaces his production
Julio leaves Atlanta-Ridley replaces his production

There are so many examples of this. Elite receiver talent is easy to find and replace. Skills players are a dime a dozen.

I think Terps was mocking you.

Tyreek Hill is an absolute freak. Not many if any WR completely transforms how a defense will play a team. I'm talking about every team playing 2 high safeties.

The same can be said about Devante Adams leaving GB. You don't just replace Devante Adams. Rogers and Green Bay are not going to have a great air game this year.

I actually do agree to an extent, or I used to. You look at the history of super bowl winners, many don't have a top 10 WR on the roster. Recent history is changing that trend, however.

I guess up until the Chiefs won, you see a lot of SB winning teams before didn't have an elite WR. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_Bowl_champions

Rams kind of shouldn't count because Kupp is definitely not being paid elite WR money

I would be furious if my team gave up those picks for a WR.

I was actually looking into it and yea, the trend is changing over the last 3 years. For a LONG time sb winners did not have elite receiver talent. Perhaps that’s changing for good now and I’m wrong.

This. The only way it may be worth it is if the team comes away with a Superbowl, but still you mortgage so much of the future

I also don't think anyone believes Miami is a true contender with this move
