-we completed 3 3rd downs on our opening TD drive (well before the "phantom" roughing call on brady)

-we finished 13/19 on 3rd downs, a 68.4% success rate.

So please tell me more about your theory that the patriots wouldn't have converted a hypothetical 3rd and 7... lmao...

So please tell me more about your theory that the patriots were guaranteed to make that 3rd and 7, when they had only converted one (which happened on the very first possession of the game) of them up until that point?

Is that bogus roughing the passer call the reason the Chiefs lost? Absolutely not. But, it still completely changed the momentum and helped get them back on track in that 2nd half.

your "high school football star" logic fails to account for the fact that on many of those 3rd downs they got much more yardage then they needed, so when they converted 3rd & shorts it wouldve been good for 3rd & longs. All i need to say is that 68% 3rd down efficiency is more than proof that the patriota would've made a 3rd and 7 against a defense that couldn't stop a cold
