I don't see the issue in asking other people to consider your eligibility for a tag.

Sometimes you need to raise the issue to get people thinking abut it. Like, I didn't even think about Emerican until he made the sarcastic comment below about getting on his knees a lot, yet he's been here a long time and I'm surprised he's not active. Boggy isn't active either, and I doubt anyone even noticed until I brought it up (and I didn't notice until the script was running).

In short, asking others to consider your bettor status is ok and different from nominating yourself, IMO, as long as you're willing to accept "no" for an answer.
