Panthers, titans, ravens, giants, redskins and the Colts were all penalized less than the patriots in 2017

Which makes it more amusing when someone debates the flag disparity in the playoffs and claims: "Did it ever occur to you that the Patriots are just more disciplined and better coached?"

The title of the video plus first 5 seconds of the video... :wallbash:

It’s regarding the 2017 season knobshine

Factually incorrect. The segment breaking down the specifics of the 2017 bad calls starts at 7:30 and ends at 15:54, where he starts covering general stuff about all sports. That's 8.5minutes of a 19min video.

If you wanted this thread to be only about 2017, you shouldn't have started it with a video that's roughly half about things besides 2017.

NO 8 vs 98
CAR 2 vs 18

Obviously Carolina would have won if NO was penalized more. Fucking Zebras not doing their job.

Edit:

One of the theories that I've heard, that actually seems practical to me, is that BB has people on his staff who do nothing but analyze when/what refs penalize for, and he tells his guys specifically when they can play more aggressively, or when they should play softer, since statistically they're less or more inclined to throw the flag during x periods of time. Would also help them in drawing flags if they could utilize this in properly baiting the other team to attack aggressively in high flag scenarios. Hard to know all the fuckery that's going on in NE, but there's no grand scale collusion. Ya, NE has gotten favorable calls and certainly some of them have been incredibly questionable but to think there's fixing going on at the highest lvl is just :bonk:

But it did? Jacksonville was hit harder by it, but there BAD penalties on both sides that were missed. Jacksonville got screwed wayyyy harder, but it was a poorly called game on both sides.

And you need to take off your tinfoil hat if you actually think there's a large conspiracy going on to manipulate games. Owners, players, and everyone involved is going to try and sway the game as much in their favor as they possibly can. I'm sure refs can and have been bought, but to think that there's a large scale rigging scandal happening and that it hasn't been exposed, is next level stupidity.

Edit : I just can't even imagine how dense, or naive you'd have to put to think that a scandal of that magnitude could be happening without any official source ever coming forward to out it.... You know, people who have been bounced out of the league, people fired in disgrace, people rotting away in jail, people who go fucking bankrupt and ruin their lives, ex-officials who are broke or down on their luck, ex-coaches in similar situations, or even jaded fucking owners lol. Not a single person who's actually involved in the league at a high level has said that something like this is happening, but it's somehow happening, but no one ever has talked.... Yepppppp, seems plausible alright.

I agree completely that most refs and higher ups know nothing, but the very top people are locked in for life they will never sell themselves out lol. Think Kraft or Goodell would ever come out and say that they rigged shit? Never they would go to prison that is why noone comes out and says anything. You really do not find it odd at all that Manning got a ring his last year? Or Ray Lewis? Or the fact a crappy Saints team won the SB after the hurricane? All that is odd (And arguably the most money making outcomes!)I mean look at how bad the Ravens were that year and then they just dominated in playoffs. Manning could not throw worth crap and got his final ring for allowing the Seahawks to win a couple years earlier. That game was ridiculous! 43-8 *shivers*. I mean the fact a Manning brother beat Brady who is obviously better twice. Lots of really odd things have happened. You don't think someone like Manning would not throw a Superbowl if promised one a couple years later for a bunch of money? I believe 99.9% of people in NFL know nothing

ASJ seemed like a touchdown to me. And what about all the videos of Brady pushing his hand in the air and then the play clock magically resets to 24?

Asj was not a touchdown. Was a textbook fumble, and when it's out of the endzone that makes it touchback by NFL rules supposedly.

No idea what the other thing you're reffering to is (didn't watch video in OP nor will I)

Or a great front 4 just kept Brady and a high-powered NE offense to a much lower score than they averaged all year. Seeing as that's something that ALWAYS gives NE a ton of fucking trouble lol. You think Manning crying and storming off the field like a baby was a staged reaction? Ya... that makes sense. No, they just got their fucking asses handed to them. When the top offense meets the top defense, the defense almost always comes away with the win. Manning and the entire team had a terrible fucking game, and Seattle mobbed through them.

If you honestly believe games are being rigged by top players/coaches and the league, you should just stop watching.

Supposedly lol. That hasn't been confirmed, but ya, it's probably his job.

Ernie is just one of the guys that does that there's probably a whole team of 'em.

It's talked about openly in Do Your Job 1 & 2. They study ref crews, players tendencies to commit/not commit penalties, stuff of that nature.

lol. there were only really 2 games (regular and post season) that the refs made crucial/potential game changing errors that favored the patriots; one was the late regular season matchup vs the Bills, the Kelvin Benjamin TD should not have been overturned (which this bad call didn't even matter in hindsight because both the Bills and the Patriots made the playoffs), the other being the Jaguars game, the ref(s) should've probably never blown the whistle on the Myles Jack fumble recovery. Not the patriots fault the refs did a lousy job lol.

Anyone who cries about the ASJ fumble out of the endzone or the Jesse James incomplete catch is an idiot and should read the rules (like 'em or not).
