Looking back through some of your picks Randy.

There's zero chance imo that Noah Spence is still on the board that late in the 2nd round. If it's not for the possible character concerns, dude would be a top 5 pick. He still could for all we know, I wouldn't be surprised at all. He's by far the best edge rusher in this draft. He's the ultimate high risk, high reward prospect.

Who do you want the jags to take at 5?

Any one of Bosa, Jack, Ramsey and I'll be happy. Noah Spence being an outside option as well. I wouldn't mind seeing Fowler and Spence lined up together, rushing the passer.

I think one of the first 3 are more likely, but if Dave feels there's no character concerns with Spence and he pulls the trigger. I'll take that all day also, considering we need pass rushers bad.

Bosa will probably be gone. Jack and ramsey ya'll have a legitimate shot at. It sucks we didn't get to see what Dante Fowler could do since the injury early last year. Honestly, jville has come a long way in the past few years. Drafting really well, getting some nice FA pickups and serious playmakers. I thought Allen Robinson was solid but did not expect anywhere close to the kind of serious impact he's made. A solid ass WR1, some nice complimentary pieces, a decent young rb in yeldon and an up and coming young qb who shows flashes of having an excellent career. Jax has come a long way. That oline has taken a few nice steps as well. I was jealous of the AJ Cann pick. :(

What about corners? Don't really know a ton about them. Dwayne gratz and who else? I haven't really heard shit about Jonathan Cyprien in a long time. Has he just not panned out?

The issue is that none of these qbs are worth a pick that high. I don't even find them first round material. There is so much talent. Honestly I would be ok with bosa, buckner, and ramsey at 4. Carr is getting older and overpaid big time and Claibornes status is unknown moving forward. Could let one of them go...or both and save a lot of money, keep jones at corner and have scandrick and jones as starting corners with ramsey filling in the safety spot alongside Barry Church.

I wonder if 4 is too high for Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith. Lee can never stay healthy and dallas never really filled Bruce Carter's spot

Every film cut of Jaylon Smith that I've seen makes me want him at #4. Dude is a ball hawk. Myles Jack is alright too at a lesser extent but Smith, goddamn.

I would agree with you on the quarterbacks but just like the world and oil the nfl runs on them now. Look what happened when Romo went down for us this year and when Peyton went down for the Colts in 2011. You have to have a #2 option and we don't have one right now. I do think we stand a pretty good chance at getting RGIII in free agency and if he looks good then I'm fine with rolling with him and getting the best player we can at #4. Even if we get RGIII in free agency I think it would be a good idea to draft and try to develop somebody out of the later rounds. Somebody like say Brandon Doughty out of WKU, he looked damn good when we watched them play Marshal this year. I wouldn't mind having Tyler Higbee either.

I know man but you can't force a pick that's not there. Getting rg3 would be the best thing that could happen. I'm just not convinced on these qbs at all. Not in the first round at least. Dallas has done such a good job in the past few years with drafting. Can't fuck it up now

There should be at least one of Bosa, Jack, or Ramsey left on the board still when we pick at #5.

We'll basically have two 1st round draft picks this season, with Fowler coming back.

We have two Guards of our future in Brandon Linder (who missed 13 games because of a torn labrum. he's also our best player on our OL) and AJ Cann. Cann started 13 games as a rookie this past season, in place of Linder and he didn't give up a single sack all year.

WR is probably our deepest position. Two studs in Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. We still have to see what we have in Marqise Lee, who has a very high upside. Dude has some serious speed, he just can't stay healthy. Rashad Greene is a good punt returner and there's high hopes that he'll develop into a good slot receiver for us.

Bortles, Julius Thomas and Yeldon, all 3 are core pieces to the Offense. Obviously Bortles is the man.

LB is probably our weakest position group. Telvin Smith is a stud, Poz is good still, but he isn't getting any younger and he can be a liability in coverage. Dan Skuta is solid. He's average and can be upgraded at the SAM, but he's ok. There's far bigger areas of need than upgrading Skuta. Don't really have anybody else after those 3. Besides Telvin, we need to get a lot more speed at LB and that's why I'd love if we drafted Myles Jack. Jack and Smith roaming around the middle, would arguably be the most athletic LB duo in the league.

We need another CB to play opposite of Davon House. House played pretty well for having zero pass rush to help him out. Aaron Colvin is a solid Nickel CB, but we need another starting outside CB, opposite of House. Gratz got himself benched and might not even make the roster next season. If he does he'll most likely be the 4th or 5th CB.

FS is probably our biggest need. We have 3 Strong Safeties on this roster, but no Frees. Cyprien was good and bad this past season. He hasn't been anything special. He could lose his starting SS job to James Sample, who we drafted in the 4th round in this past draft. He broke his arm earlier in camp and then hurt his shoulder early in the season. So we still really don't know what we have in him. Josh Evans is a solid back up and special teamer. He has played a lot of football for us, as a 6th round pick out of Florida in 2013.

We got some players on the DL, Jared Odrick is good, Sen'Derrick Marks is fucking great when healthy, but coming off ACL surgery and then a triceps tear, we'll see how he comes back. Roy Miller is an underrated NT and one of the better NT in the league. Father time has just caught up with Chris Clemons and Andre Branch has just been bad. He's a FA now anyways and Clemons will most likely be cut. We need two more edge rushers to go along with Fowler. We can't expect Fowler to go right out and destroy the league from day 1. One because he's coming off the ACL, but two because pass rushers usually struggle in their 1st year regardless.

Our 2014 draft class might go down as our best draft class ever, when it's all said and done. That class is looking pretty fucking good right now.

I could definatly see you guys going with Jalen Ramsey, he would fit your FS/CB need. You guys are developing a solid core of players, too bad Blackmon didn't work out.

The talent on this team now, compared to pre 2013 (when Dave Caldwell and Bradley took over) is night and day. This team was basically at an expansion level, when it came to the talent on this team, pre 2013. We're really only one or two pieces away from being a legit threat in the NFL. People outside of Jacksonville/Jag fans are really starting to take notice that this very young and talented Offense they're building here, could be the next great Offense in the NFL.

We just need another piece, or two on Defense to take that next step.

I only want Ramsey as a FS. If he plays CB at the next level, I think he's best suited as the inside Nickel CB. We already have Colvin for that role though and he's a very solid, young player.

Man, could you imagine Robinson, Blackmon and Hurns  . What a fuckin trio that would be.
