Was just checking out the current list of guys going back to school and seriously, what the fuck are some of these guys thinking?

Ronnie Stanley would have been a guaranteed top 10 selection, likely top 5, possible top 3 and almost no doubt the first tackle taken. Why on Earth would he want to go back to school only to risk injury or poor play?

I'm bummed about Shawn Oakman, Shilique Calhoun, Jordan Jenkins and Leonard Floyd all going back but it's probably best that all of them do. Calhoun would have been a first rounder likely, Floyd possibly but the other two were second day.

My biggest disappointment is Eric Striker going back. He was one of my major sleepers. A day 3 pick (maybe late day 2) that had a lot of upside.

The last guys it's in their best interest to play another year but Stanley still just baffles me. If he's going back for his education (which I can't think of any other reason he would be) then it's hard to fault him for it. It actually makes me happy that he did it but at the same time, if he plans on playing professional football ever, he should have declared. That final year of college is always going to be there but if he gets a major injury this year, football could be done. :-/ Hoping he doesn't of course but why risk it is all I'm saying.

But if he stays healthy and Does as well or better maybe he locks up the Number one spot next year. Whos going to be ahead of him next year?

A quarterback.

If he went back to school for that reasoning then he's a fool. If it was for school purposes like I said I can't be even the slightest bit upset at him for it but it just confuses me.

If him or Gurley are there it's happening man. They're not even trying to hide how done with TRich they are, picking as late as they will be it'll likely be the BPA anyway and will be a massive need filled.

Colts are one of the few teams that Gurley makes the most sense for. They don't need him right away so he can rest and rehab until he's 100% but when he is ready to go he can step in right away and play a huge role.
