Thanks, I would pull the trigger on a dirtbike in a heartbeat but I just need someplace where I can ride on a weekly basis.

Anyone know much about dirtbike pricing? Used and new, etc.

depends on brand and condition. You can get a good idea of local prices by comparing similar items on craigslist or national prices that bay store with the E in front. I use google, and that bay store with the E in front, mainly for buying and selling items at the pawn shop to find rough values.
