Exactly. Those of us that have been around know that pm bets mean shit in these circumstances, but bettors that come around during playoffs do not know that.

We should really make stricter guidelines but it is hard to please everyone with the wording...

The guidelines are fine, it clearly states that a variation of the word "confirmed" must be made by both sides or no action will be taken.

There are even examples, if it's not clear enough already, then people here are just fucking retarded.

then shouldnt ppl on the active and trusted list be ready to direct those new bettors to the forum?

It is NOT our responsibility to make sure anyone reads the rules.

I'm sorry... wat.

I would be more than glad to help new bettors to the section(s). I always try to help when people troll new bettors looking for help.

We just need stricter guidelines, tbh -_-

This situation is an example of one where a "variation" is simply not enough. The person at question can simply say that wanted spread, never got confirmed on their request (after receiving fg), and can send back the initial bet amount without having to lose their own fg in the process.

Technically it's not their job.

Does that mean even if Extort were to say "cd" instead of "cool, gl", technically it shouldn't count because it was done through PM?

I'm asking this to get a better understanding.

Doesn't clearly enough state what "a variation of the word confirmed" means. Which of the following words counts as a variation?

Cunfirmed
Cumfirmed
Cumformed
Cum formed
Cum for med

I see. Noted.

Further clarifying question, even if that PM bet stems from a thread bet, it doesn't matter or is there even a difference in that?

Yep... I would not count that as a bet. It has to be posted in a thread as far as I am concerned.

It is enough, I don't see any way to make it more clear. It doesn't say "A variation of a confirmation" It says, "A variation OF THE WORD Confirmed"

If it's not clear enough, then what the fuck.
