It is similar to that of Summerfest in which there is an admission charge to access the grounds and there is free bands to see.

The headlining bands, or big name bands, you have to pay for; grass seats, floor seats, and sectioned row seating.

Just because Kanye West had Kid Cudi with him at Summerfest did not mean that it was free to go to the Ampitheatre.
