Sounds like he wanted to play but wouldn't stand up for himself
E/ As an Eagles fan I know they aren't winning a bowl with a subpar passing game. Almost all the great offenses of the last 20 years were passers.
Incomplete teams rarely win it all.
That's a bad take man. Eagles are a run first offense, and the best in the league at it (highest run% offense as well), but their passing game is very good too. They reminded everyone of that when Hurts threw 30+ times and absolutely lit the Steelers up a few weeks ago. Just a little reminder of what they can do when they want with two great WR's.
But nobody can stop the run game, so why get away from it? They can control the clock and run it down everyone's throat which in turn opens up passing opportunities. They run more than anyone because it works. It's not because they can't pass, they have two of the highest paid WR's in the league lol.
And we know Hurts can show up in the big game. We watched him put up the second highest graded super bowl performance in NFL History in 2023.
